Lauren Ngoi currently holds her BA in Child Adolescent Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education and a Special Education Minor from San Francisco State University (SFState). Lauren is a Workforce Coordinator for Jumpstart under the EDvance program at San Francisco State University. She has nearly two decades of experience working with young children in a variety of settings. Lauren taught for San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) and at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco in a preschool classroom, leading discussions with parents and families, researching with young children, and collaborating with classroom educators. She has facilitated numerous roundtables focused around the Reggio-Emilia Approach. Ms. Ngoi has presented at a Learning Story Conference through SFState. She is a San Francisco, CA native where she currently resides and is a full-time working mother of a young daughter and a multitude of animals.
