Chelsea McNutt is a Masters of Public Administration student at San Francisco State University. Ms. McNutt was awarded the Child and Adolescent Development Department Honoree Award when she graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor's in Child and Adolescent Development with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from San Francisco State University’s PATH program. From 2010-2014, Ms. McNutt gained teaching experiences in early childhood education settings from participating in a service learning program at a Head Start, teaching at San Francisco State University’s ECE center for professional development and research, and collaborating with early childhood educators in South Africa. Ms. McNutt has worked for EDvance as the SF SEED Coordinator, where she created new program procedures to increase efficiency for processing early childhood educators’ stipends, and created an Educational Plan requirement; and as the Operations Manager, where she oversaw stipend and incentives programs for San Francisco’s early childhood workforce. As a former EDvance student and early childhood educator, Ms. McNutt is now applying her background to serve the ECE workforce in her current position with EDvance as the Pathways Manager, where she oversees educational pathway programs and incentive programs for the early childhood workforce.
